How to use

Adjust the crutches properly and ask a friend or family member to help you with this step.

Put on the shoes you plan to wear most of the recovery period, and stand up normally.

To adjust the overall height of the crutch, bend your elbow until the wrist joint is level with the hips with an angle of thirty degrees, then measure the distance between the largest part of the forearm and the ground and adjust the crutch accordingly, the handle of the crutch should be level with the wrist.

Insert your arm into the crutch with the hole of the forearm collar not pointing at the body, then position the collar an inch or two below the elbow and around the widest part of the forearm, then grasp the handle firmly.

Place the end of the crutch one step in front of you while standing on the uninjured foot.

Bear your weight on your forearms and crutches as you lean forward and always keep the injured foot elevated.

Lift your uninjured foot and move your body forward while keeping your crutches firmly in balance, then place your foot one step in front of the crutches and allow your body weight to be placed on the crutch and repeat!

With practice, you will be able to walk smoothly and balance in a way that allows you to move quickly despite the injury, and you can refer to a physiotherapist to find out other alternative ways of walking and movement.
